The Hotel Georgia is back. First opened in 1927, the legendary Vancouver hotel has seen The King, Elvis and other British and Hollywood royalty make stopovers over the years. It’s 2011 renovation is complete, and it’s 155 rooms are back. And that sign is fabulous. Looking forward to the Jazz bar coming in the winter too.

The rooms look pretty comfy and New York tight, and the big suite looks ridiculously over the top and superior rooms (Side note: is there anything more lame than hotel room designations? Superior? Deluxe) start at the kind of eye-popping $355 for a King. Want a room with a street view? That’s $395. Junior Suite? $540 Lord Stanley Suite on the top floor with the rooftop garden terrace? $3250.
